50/50 Sharemilker Position
Lynburn Dairy is a family owned irrigated dairy property on the North side of the Waitaki River between Glenavy and Ikawai. Our current sharemilkers are moving on after 7 years having purchased their own dairy farm, creating an opportunity for a new 50/50 sharemilker to join us from the start of the 2026/27 season. Farm owners seek a highly motivated person with a proven track record, demonstrated ability to manage an irrigated dairy operation profitability, strong animal husbandry skills, competent with pasture management and grazing systems. Sound understanding of compliance requirements including Health & Safety, animal welfare standards. Is also a good communicator, professional attitude with a strong work ethic. The farm consists of 181ha total with 178ha effective. Milking 730 cows at peak.
