**Job Description** We are seeking an experienced and capable Farm Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of our 180-cow farm, 70-hectare dairy farm in Warea, South Taranaki operating a 16-aside herringbone shed. The Farm Manager is responsible for meeting farm goals in terms of production, animal performance, feed, environment, machinery. You will liaise with the farm consultant and owners to work toward achieving these targets. We are looking for a MANAGER to join our large scale dairy farm in Central Taranaki. You need to a minimum of FOUR years experience working within NZ farming system, be able to start around 1st June, have a current NZ Drivers license and eligible to work in NZ. You will be in charge of THREE employees when the Employer is away, this will require you to organize the teams daily tasks and ensure they're completed, your main role will be pasture management, helping the owners allocate feed plans, weekly plate metering the farm and summer crop grazing. The position will involve all aspects of dairying, including milking, pasture management, feeding out, mating and general farm work. You need to be able to operate large machinery, work along aside other employees with a positive attitude, team spirit. You need to be highly motivated, reliable, career driven and able to carry out written and verbal instruction. Drug testing will conducted before and during employment. We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager to join our family run business on our 300 cow dairy farm south of Inglewood from June 2026. We run a 27 aside herringbone shed with ACR's and an auto drafting gate on a 104ha effective milking platform. We have Halter collars to assist with grass management and mating. R1's are on-farm and R2's are currently sent out for grazing. We are employed off-farm at various times across the year and currently employ 1.5 FTE to cover milking and feeding of stock but are seeking a farm manager to take operational leadership of the day to day running of the farm including milking, general farm work and pasture, stock and record management.
