Get out on farm in the Manawatu! Do you have a passion for animal nutrition? Do you have a proven sales drive! We are seeking experienced and motivated Sales Agents to join our team in the Manawatu region. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing expert technical advice, and driving sales growth within the agricultural and dairy sectors. You will work closely with farmers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that improve their production and profitability. You must have a strong knowledge of dairy nutrition and supplement products and Animal Rumination. Key Responsibilities • Identify and understand the specific needs of farming clients • Deliver technical advice on dairy supplements and nutrition • Provide on-farm sales and product recommendations • Develop and execute proactive sales plans • Manage customer interactions using a structured sales process • Build and maintain long-term, trusted customer relationships • Meet and exceed sales targets within your assigned territory • Work collaboratively with our technical support team Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 3 years' proven sales experience, ideally in the agricultural or dairy industries • Strong knowledge of dairy nutrition and supplement products • Up-to-date understanding of industry trends and best farming practices • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work both independently and within a team • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., SAP) • A valid New Zealand driver’s license • A passion for the dairy industry and a commitment to customer success Preferred Qualifications • Formal qualification in Agriculture or a related field • Additional certifications or training in animal nutrition or sales Additional Requirements • Must provide two professional referees from similar roles • Clean criminal record (Ministry of Justice background check required) • Drug and alcohol screening – both pre- and post-employment Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum + commission Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed Average Hours Per week: 45 Roster: Single rotation - 5 Days on / 2 days Off

Morning milkings are usually between 4:30-7:30am and afternoons are usually between 2:00 – 4:30pm.
