We are currently seeking an experienced relief milker on our 430 cow farm near Foxton. The farm has an excellent infrastructure: 36 aside herring bone with a smooth flowing automatic teat spraying cow shed in late spring. This is a well-structured farm with very good procedures and guidelines in place. You will need to demonstrate passion, drive and ambition for the role and have an attention to detail with strong communicational skills to be successful with us. There are great working conditions centered on a strong Health and Safety work environment. We are looking for someone to be able to help with relief milking every second weekend the start of January through until the end of the season in June. There is also additional work available to cover staff annual leave periods if the candidate was interested. The farm is located 10 minutes south of Sanson or 10 minutes north of Foxton on state highway 1. (30 minutes from Palmerston North). Pay is negotiable depending on the candidate’s skill and level of training required.
