Our clients are seeking an experienced and motivated 50/50 Sharemilker to commence at the start of the 2026–27 season. **The Farm** - **Location:** Inglewood - **Milking Platform:** 111 ha - **Currently Milking:** Predominantly Jersey - **Current Herd:** Approximately 250 cows, calving from 28 July - **50/50 Position:** 290-300 Cows - **Average Historic Production:** 100,000 – 115,000 kgMS Milking is through a 22-aside herringbone shed. The farm is well set up with two Herd Homes (160 Jersey capacity each), cows are housed from dry off and are back on pasture once calved. **Feed & Farm System** - 250 tonnes maize - 200 tonnes PK - 2 unit loads of barley straw - 270–300 bales of silage made on-farm All above are fed in Herd homes. 7 ha of turnips as part of the regrassing programme. **The Role** This position would suit a capable and driven sharemilker ready to operate a well-established, efficient dairy unit with supportive farm owners.
