The farm is 194ha effective, milking 630 cows at peak OAD through a 40 a side herringbone with cup removers. System level 2/3. Irrigated by pivots and K-Lines. The successful applicant will be tasked with and involved in all aspects of the farm. Working closely with the Contract Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve the farms goals and maintain an enjoyable work environment. The farm is located just 15 minutes away from three popular towns in the South Wairarapa, with a primary school and rugby club all within a stone's throw away. A short trip south will get you to an extensive and scenic coastline. Looking for someone to join our team! 50 Bail Rotary, milking 950 cows. Working in a team environment with 3 different shifts: Early, mid, and late. Castlecor Farm is located in Meath, Central Ireland, and is a New Zealand-operated farm running 450 Spring Calving LIC X-Breed Cows on a New Zealand Pasture-based system 2 type system. We're looking for a fourth person to join our team over the busy calving and mating period. Start date immediate if possible, with calving beginning in early February. This is a temporary position with the possibility of a long-term permanent position. Ideally, we would be looking for someone who can go through to mid to late June. You'd be joining an enjoyable team that gets along well together with a good sense of humour, all in their 3rd season on the farm. Accommodation is provided on farm with the use of a company vehicle for local and weekend use. Previous dairying experience and operating a tractor and machinery are not essential for the right person, but are preferred. A good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are non-negotiable essentials. Your main role would include, but are not limited to; - Assisting in the general day-to-day work of calving. - Milking - Tractor work and feeding out - Breaks and break feeding - Bedding calf sheds & some calf feeding. - General treatment and animal husbandry of cows and calves. We are looking for a farm assistant here on our South Wairarapa farm. We are 20 minutes from Martinborough. 1 hour from Wellington. We milk through a rotary shed, milking experience is a must. All the usual farm duties: Milking, break fences, fencing, R & M, tractor work, weed control etc. We do pre employment drug testing so will only hire someone who's drug free.
