We are experienced sharemilkers running a modern 1,500 Cow Dairy Farm in Awamoko, North Otago with a new 80 bale rotary - along with neighboring runoff, and we’re looking for an experienced General Farm Hand to join our team. This is a role for someone who wants variety, responsibility, and potential long term development within the industry. About the Role - Negotiable roster - Balanced workload across tractor driving, stock work, irrigation, milking (if desired), and general farm work - Efficient team of long serving, experienced dairy staff - Dairy platform is pivot-irrigated with underslung effluent, fixed grid in corners - Runoff is a mixture of K-line and dryland. - Housing available You will Ideally Have - Tractor driving experience - Pride in your work and care for animals and equipment - A positive team attitude and good communication - Reliability and able to work both in a team and independently Requirements - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol on farm - NZ Residency is essential - CV and genuine references required If you’re keen to learn more about this position, we’d love to hear from you! Join us in sunny Central - we are 20 mins from Alexandra, 1.5 hrs from Wanaka or Queenstown and 2 hrs from Dunedin. We are looking for someone to join our team on our support blocks. We run 2 dairy farms milking 1100 cows total, plus 300 Hectares of support land. We are looking for someone to undertake the day to day running of support block including stock work, feeding, fencing, tractor work, winter grazing, irrigation etc. House available. Must have full current drivers license, no criminal convictions. 5 on 2 off roster (except spring 6 on 1 off) Stock skills and tractor experience required. **Stockperson – Dunedin** We’re looking for a reliable, early-rising team player to join our poultry operations. This is a physical role suited to someone who takes animal welfare seriously and can meet our biosecurity standards.
