This is a great opportunity for someone with solid ambitions who is ready to step up and continue progressing in the dairy industry. We will be first-season owners on this farm following a recent purchase and are building a strong, positive team culture from the ground up. This is not a management role, but a role designed to help someone progress into a 2IC position with some responsibilities. Drive in relief milker required, located near Waianiwa (approx. 20mins from Invercargill, 20mins from Winton). Approx. 3-4 Milking’s a week at this stage. Flexible with days/dates. Approx. 280 cows in older 24 aside herringbone shed. Cups on approx. 7AM & 5PM, but flexible. Cows generally close to shed & fences all set up. Must have milking experience and be able to work sole charge. Must be able to ride a quad. Roughly 3hrs in morning & 2 1/2 hours in afternoons.
