Farm Overview We are located 15 minutes from Winton and 20 minutes from Invercargill in Southland. Milking approximately 630 cows at peak Predominantly Holstein Friesian Self-contained farming system Wintering barn Automatic calf feeders 60-bail rotary with ACRs We operate a supportive and inclusive work environment, and our current team is young and has worked together for the past three seasons. Roster 6 & 2 for most of the year 6 & 1 through peak calving Additional time off flexible within reason We value work-life balance and encourage learning opportunities (e.g., AgITO training) The Role – Dairy Farm Manager You will assist with daily farm operations as directed, including: Milking and shed hygiene Feeding and pasture management Animal health and welfare Calf rearing support Effluent management General farm maintenance Adhering to on-farm compliance (health & safety, environmental, animal welfare) What We’re Looking For...
