Good 5/2 roster and work life balance Supportive team environment The role You will work closely with other team leaders to ensure that important operations are carried out on time and operate all farm machinery carrying out daily and seasonal routines including: Cultivation, Seeding, Mowing, Bailing, Irrigation, Spraying, Fertiliser spreading, Harvesting, Cartage Work with Crop agronomist to manage crop husbandry Trouble shoot daily issues and come up with solutions to keep things moving Maintain records where required Carry out every day general maintenance and servicing of equipment. We are looking for a motivated 2IC to work alongside farm owner. We are looking for someone with experience, motivation and passion. Someone with the ability to step into farm manager. Must currently be in New Zealand. Must have at least 2-year dairy experience. Must be able to speak. We milk 330 through 25ASHB based at Glenham. 40km from Invercargill 30 km from Gore. We also run 410 cow fully self-contained sharemilking job next door. We are hand on owners that work alongside our staff day in day out. We all work together on both farms to get the jobs done. Duties Include, Milking unsupervised, Calf rearing, weed control, Crop shifting, Effluent management, young stock work at runoff, Fencing and other farm duties. Agito also offered to further your skills in the industry. Roster is 5 on 2 off, 6 on 1 off over calving. Min hours 70hr fortnight.

We are looking for a calf rearer to join our team starting mid of July. Rearing about 350 heifer calves plus bobbies and beefies at 4 days old. Roster 6 on 1 off, about 5 hours per day.
