We are seeking a contract milker for the 2026/2027 season. 260 ha farm, milking 560 cows through a 49 aside Herringbone shed at Ahaura. Majority of cows wintered on farm on 20ha of Fodder beet. Young stock are all wintered off. Position would suit a couple who are both keen to work full time or a full time person and a part time farm assistant. Very tide 4 bedroom house on farm as well as two other houses (Both 3 bedroom) available for staff houses. West Coast farming experience is preferred. Successful applicants will be required to pass a per employment drug test & criminal record check. The successful applicant needs to be self motivated, driven and able to manage staff well. Central location with Greymouth just 30 minutes away. Awahono Primary school is just up the road in Ahaura, with school bus pick up at the gate. Bus to Greymouth High Schools at the gate.
