We are looking for a enthusiastic person that has been in the dairy industry for at least 1 season for The Kapenga M Trust KMS dairy farm. The farm is situated 20 mins south of Rotorua. It is a rolling to steep farm so ideally you will have had experience driving bikes and tractors on this kind of terrain. We expect you to - Be able to milk efficiently - Detect cows that are sick or lame - Put up break fences and work out paddock areas - Be able to operate vehicles in a safe manner - Be a team player and help out the team when asked. - Be able to follow instructions and be confident to ask questions - Be punctual reliable and a good time manager but not a clock watcher - Be willing to learn - Clean and tidy and take pride in the workplace. You need to be fit and healthy and drug free. You must be legally able to work in NZ (Kapenga is not an accredited employer) Kapenga M Trust is a progressive Trust with 2 dairy farms and a sheep, beef and deer unit. Drive in relief milker required, located near Waianiwa (approx. 20mins from Invercargill, 20mins from Winton). Approx. 3-4 Milking’s a week at this stage. Flexible with days/dates. Approx. 280 cows in older 24 aside herringbone shed. Cups on approx. 7AM & 5PM, but flexible. Cows generally close to shed & fences all set up. Must have milking experience and be able to work sole charge. Must be able to ride a quad. Roughly 3hrs in morning & 2 1/2 hours in afternoons.

We are looking for a dependable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our Taranaki-based operation, located just 10 minutes from Inglewood. You’ll work alongside the farm owner and support the day‑to‑day running of the farm. Jobs include: Milking cows once or twice a day depending on shift, shifting irrigation, fences, stock, and helping with other general farm jobs. Roster is 9 days on, 3 days off.

Dairy Farm Assistant required. The position involves supporting the Farm Managers in achieving the farm’s production and profit goals through assisting with the day-to-day operation of the farm, and to follow good animal health and welfare, and environmental practices.
