We require a general farm hand to carry out morning and afternoon milking, stock movement, general farm duties. Cups on in the morning, 5am. Afternoon milking 2pm. Currently milking 230 cows through a 24 bale rotary with cup removers. Farm is located in Waiotahe, with Waiotahe and Kutarere Schools nearby. School bus at front gate. Roster is every second weekend off. Weekends are normally, milking only and herd paddock to paddock. Staff is one staff member and farm owner, with calf rearer employed in the Spring. We also have a nearby runoff where young stock are kept. We will only consider applicants with New Zealand work permits. Calf Rearers - Spring 2026

The focus is on attention to detail and healthy replacement and bobby calves as well as running an efficient calf rearing system.
