Relief Milker Jobs in Southland

Drive in relief milker required, located near Waianiwa (approx. 20mins from Invercargill, 20mins from Winton). Approx. 3-4 Milking’s a week at this stage. Flexible with days/dates. Approx. 280 cows in older 24 aside herringbone shed. Cups on approx. 7AM & 5PM, but flexible. Cows generally close to shed & fences all set up. Must have milking experience and be able to work sole charge. Must be able to ride a quad. Roughly 3hrs in morning & 2 1/2 hours in afternoons.

Relief Milker position available to cover staff time off and our busy periods May/June and Aug- Dec. Small house available on farm, flexible rosters to work around you. 5min to Winton. Must be a New Zealand Citizen.

We are looking for a drive in relief milker. We peak milk 500 cows through a 54 bale rotary with in shed feeding and ACR. Our start times are 6am and 3pm. Previous milking experience is a must as well as being able to detect and treat mastitis or other health conditions. We are located 9km North of Winton in Limehills. Other casual jobs on farm are also available if you wanted. Remuneration is based on experience and can be discussed at an interview.
