You'll have a range of responsibilities including the day-to-day management support including: - Milking - Shed Management - Animal Husbandry and Production - Animal Health Monitoring, Management and Treatment - Pasture and fodder Management - Maintenance of Shed, Equipment and Machinery - Know and meet regulatory rules & requirements - Mating, Calving and Calf rearing Management - and other general farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 55 for the salary. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, should you work beyond the agreed maximum hours in a fortnightly pay period, you will be paid the agreed overtime hourly rate for any hours beyond the maximum hours. The schedule may vary but generally work hours are between 4am and go through 5pm with meal and rest breaks. Candidates must have previous dairy farming experience and are required to provide good, related references.
